Book Design - Switched At Birth

For this project, Annya transformed a selected podcast story into a conceptual book design, creating a full cover sleeve and internal page layouts including a spread, table of contents, and opening chapter. The process began with in-depth listening and research, followed by sketching and developing visual concepts rooted in the story’s mood and themes. Using Procreate, Photoshop, and InDesign, she balanced expressive illustration with structured typography to achieve a professional, print-ready result. The cover artwork wraps seamlessly around the spine, guiding the viewer’s eye and maintaining visual continuity. Through careful attention to color, composition, and hierarchy, the design conveys the story’s emotional depth with subtlety and intention, inviting readers to explore what lies beneath the surface.
